Project Description

Judgment Enforcement

Each party to a concluded family law case has the ability to go back to court in what is considered a “post judgment matter” in an effort to enforce the terms of the judgment should the other party fail to comply.

In Dissolution of Marriage actions common enforcement actions involve one party failing to pay debt assigned to him/her, a party’s failure to turn over property granted to the other party or a party’s failure to remove the other parties name from a specified indebtedness (i.e. mortgage) he/she was to assume.
