Angela Tormey is a graduate from Western Michigan University’s Thomas M. Cooley Law School. During her studies, Ms. Tormey served as the President of the Federal Bar Association and Vice President of the Military Veteran Law Student Association. Her excellent leadership and hard work led to her being nominated by her class for the Leadership Achievement Award for her graduating class. In our firm, Ms. Tormey primarily focuses on estate planning, uncontested domestic relations matters, military divorce, and mediation.

Prior to Becoming an Attorney
Angela Tormey served in the United States Air Force and retired from active duty in 2014. During her first years, Master Sergeant Tormey served as a Satellite, Wideband and Telemetry Systems Craftsman deploying in support of Operation Southern Watch, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Additionally, she completed a remote tour of duty at Yongsan Army Garrison in Seoul, South Korea where she was part of two-person satellite communications cell charged with supporting the United States Army’s Combat Weather Team. Then she went on to deploy to Camp As Saliyah, Qatar as the Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT) Forward Deployed Frequency Manager for the Combined Forces Special Operations Component Command (CFSOCC). Before cross-training into Public Health, Master Sergeant Tormey then completed three years at the Pentagon as an Executive Travel Communicator to the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff as well as the Chief of Staff of the Air Force. Ms. Tormey received many awards and decorations during her military service.
Ms. Tormey is a Georgia native. She is married with 2 children. Angela and her husband are both active in the community and coach youth soccer.
